The Freestyle Motocross competition for the 2017 Nitro World Games added eight new semifinalists to the pack after qualifiers in Southern California. Javier Villegas topped the FMX field with a beautiful run, during which he showed he’s been working for the last 10 months in preparation for qualifying for the 2017 NWG. Fan-favorite Fred Kyrillos also secured a spot. And FMX veteran Steve Mini, who hadn’t hit a 120-foot gap in more than four years until the previous, is also headed to the semifinals.
