It is believed that Spain’s 17th century novelist Miguel de Cervantes drew inspiration from the windmills of Campo de Criptana for the adventure at the beginning of a chapter in his magnum opus ‘Don Quixote’.

Torres is always on top of his game in Madrid, winning twice in 2009 and 2011, and was a close second in 2012 to Levi Sherwood. Torres won in Dubai this season, the top favorite to beat is World Tour leader Tom Pages of France. Melero has also had his career best performances in front of the frenzied home crowd in Madrid, taking third in 2012.
